VoiceBoxer is pleased to announce several updates to the VoiceBoxer platform, enhancing interpreters’ experience and making events even more flexible for our users.
The VoiceBoxer Virtual Booth
After collecting feedback from all interpreters that work on our platform, and in collaboration with our client, the Interpretation Unit of Amnesty International, we are proud to introduce several changes to our Virtual Booth. Virtual Booths can now be configured to work into one target language only (ideal for interpreters working only into their A-language), or two target languages (for interpreters working bidirectionally). In addition, it’s now easier than ever to select as source language either the floor or any available pivot language. These two changes will give extra flexibility to our customers to accommodate any type of event configuration.
Additional Operator Controls
Our operator page now has additional functionalities that allow our clients and partners greater control over their events from behind the scenes. In addition to our existing features, such as monitoring of users’ connections and streams, the operator can now give full support to interpreters behind the scenes, as it would happen in an on-site event with the technician ready to help. This makes the operator page a very powerful tool for managing any type of event.
Additional features
To create an even better experience for our users, we have introduced some enhancements, including additional information you can add when creating an event, an easier pre-registration process for participants, and an archive of past events for downloading participant lists and chats.
